Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) represents the masculine, Mars, and the element of Fire. This herb is burned as incense or worn around the neck to aid in developing psychic power and to protect against bewitchment. Wormwood may also be burned in conjunction with sandalwood for the summoning of spirits.
