This pendant was meticulously drilled and cut by hand from an actual East Caribbean States one dollar coin. It was then secured using copper rivets to a hammered and textured background made from salvaged copper sheet. It features the famous English galleon, The Golden Hind.

The Golden Hind, captained by Sir Francis Drake, was the second ship to ever complete a circumnavigation of the globe. It was the flagship of a five ship expedition, which was completed between 1577 and 1580.

This coin is 27.5 mm and is silver in color. It comes on a strong and hypoallergenic 20" stainless steel chain. Other chain or cord options are possible upon request.
